If I have to describe how beautiful you are:

Sometimes you are like
Falling backward off the swing set
     And having the wind knocked out

Sometimes you are like
Warm biscuits and gravy
     After walking home through the snow

Sometimes you are like
Looking eastward from El Paso
     Just before sunrise

Sometimes you are like
Being in a cold, dry, unlit place
     And looking up at the vastness of
     The Universe

Sometimes, I can?t help but smile.
