Passing of Mr. Rhodes

The people of Smallton are mourning the loss of local school principal John Rhodes who dies when he was struck bi lightning last night. Police found him on the Jackson Street at three a.m. and took him to the medical center where he was pronounced dead.

Rhodes was beloved by the community. Funeral arrangements will be made by the family. No one knows why Rhodes was out or how he was hit by lightning. Said Jacob Page, local high school science teacher, "It was obvious that electricity would head strait for him, he was always a positive person."
